Gluten-Free, Processed Sugar Free, Choco-Hoto Pots

These healthier Choco-Hoto Pots are still a sweet, indulgent delicacy, but have way less sugar and calories than the traditional treat.

Growing up, my mom made the BEST choco-hoto pots; they were packed full of sugar, chocolate chips, and white chocolate chips. These desserts were so yummy and addictive, but now as an adult, I can’t have one without getting a sugar headache. These choco-hoto pots hit the spot and are way better for out bodies!

Ingredients:

  • 6 Tbsp oat flour⁣ (gluten free)

  • 6 Tbsp cacao powder

  • 3 Tbsp maple syrup⁣

  • 1 tsp baking powder⁣

  • Pinch salt⁣

  • 2/3 cup milk of choice

  • 2 tsp nut butter (1 in each ramekin)

    Instructions:

  • Take out 2 ramekins and set them aside

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit

  • In a mixing bowl, add the oat flour, cacao powder, baking powder, and salt. Mix until blended

  • Add maple syrup and add milk slowly to make a cake batter. You might need more or less milk depending on your milk choice.

  • Add a tsp of nut butter to each ramekin and pour in the chocolate batter.

  • Bake at 400 degrees for 9-11 minutes

  • The top should be firm or have a thin, hard shell, and the middle will be molten chocolate
